Three day oil painting workshop

Join Sarah for a three day oil painting workshop focusing on the striking Tree frog. A fantastic opportunity to play with detail or loose brush work to create the glossy wet look of the frog. 

Over the course of the workshop, you will learn how to build a painting in stages, starting with strong composition and structure, then developing rich colour layers and refined detail. We’ll explore colour mixing, how to control chroma, and create the illusion of wet, glossy skin using light and contrast. It's up to you how detailed you want your finished painting to look, we will have a go at detailed realism and looser, more expressive brush work.
