Two day Pastel workshop
Join Sarah for a two day pastel workshop focusing on painting the vibrant and striking kingfisher. Throughout the workshop you will learn how to build layers in pastel, developing depth, contrast and texture.
With guided demonstrations and supportive one-to-one feedback, you’ll explore techniques such as blending, layering, using mixed media for highlights and refining details to bring your bird to life. Whether you’re new to pastels or looking to refine your technique, you’ll leave with greater confidence in handling colour and creating realistic wildlife artwork. By the end of the weekend, you will have completed your own vibrant kingfisher painting and gained transferable skills that can be applied to future wildlife subjects.
