About the Workshop
Join Jess for a 2 day Cheetah themed coloured pencil workshop. You’ll be guided through the process of creating a beautiful sleeping cheetah, with a simple breakdown and detailed demonstrations to help you achieve your very own wildlife masterpiece. You’ll learn how to build up rich, realistic colour using different pencil pressures, create depth and form through light and shadow, and layer and blend coloured pencils to achieve a soft, detailed coat. Jess will also demonstrate how to use a ceramic knife to carefully lift away layers of pencil to create fine, crisp highlights and individual hairs, adding that final level of realism to your drawing. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have gained a range of new techniques that can be applied to your own coloured pencil drawings and will take home your very own cheetah masterpiece!
