About the Workshop
Watercolour & Charcoal Puffin – 3 week Mixed Media workshop
An exciting 3-week mixed media workshop exploring texture, movement & atmosphere using watercolour, charcoal and textured paper.
In this creative course, you will be introduced to using watercolour under charcoal, firstly by experimenting on mini boards. You will then create different washes of watercolour in your favourite colours and then have fun creating textures on top of the washes using different charcoal.
I will then demonstrate how I created my mixed media puffin and show you different techniques with textured papers and other mediums for the foreground. I will also show you how to create a “wildness” and movement to your piece.
You will then be ready to start your own exciting version of a puffin, where I’ll support you to have fun, relax with your work and enjoy the process.
