About the Workshop
Sun, Sloths & Feathers: A Playful Mixed Media Journey
Hola Sun worshipers! After a long, dull winter, what better way to get in the summer spirit than Jaimie Moore's Art workshop: Sun, Sloths and Feathers.
Celebrating the colours of summer, we’ll be exploring the Costa Rican rainforest with Toucans on wood with Acrylic, followed by those lazy (but cute) Sloths! We will then hop across the Atlantic to the Mediterranean where we’ll explore strong summer colours whilst enjoying the playful side of watercolour and other mediums.
After all that, I decided you could all do with a drink to quench the thirst so we will have a session dedicated to painting cocktails! This will be using a slightly different watercolour technique where you really get the sense of transparency which is perfect for drinks.
We’ll finish the course off with creating a pretty journal sheet of Mediterranean fruit, plants, trees…

Themed Summer 6 Week Workshop
Weekly Workshop Dates: 4th June, 11th June, 18th June, 25th June, 2nd July & 9th July 2025 Time: 10am-1pm each week. Location: Arley Studios, Worcestershire UK All materials will be provided but feel free to bring any of your own images of toucans/tropical birds, or even your favourite cocktail! An information and resource pack will be provided with every new subject for each student to take home.
