Icy Watercolour Whale & Calf workshop –  3 week workshop 

Dive into the serene world of watercolour as we capture the beauty of a Whale and her calf gliding through icy waters. 

In this workshop, you'll explore The magic of an icy colour Palette, layering delicate blues, greys and lilac tones to evoke a frozen Seascape.

You'll experiment with wet into wet techniques to create flowing blends & soft washes, and add texture to your painting by using clingfilm and salt. 

Step by step, you'll learn how to build contrast, define shapes and balance detail against soft washes.

By the end of the three sessions, you'll have practiced a range of watercolour skills and created a beautiful finished painting of a Whale and her calf in a stunning icy, abstract ocean. You'll then mount your painting using one of the supplied premium mounts, before taking your finished painting home!
